Hello, Pattengill musicians!
Here is another online arranging tool that I thought you might enjoy: Word Synth from Google. With this program, you can add text and create your own melody. You can add new text, adjust the tempo, choose a different voice, change the scale, and more! Here are your instructions: 1. Read the poem below. Choose two lines that you like the best and copy them or write them down. 2. Go to this link: CLICK HERE! 3. Paste or type the lines of the poem you liked best into the spot where it reads "Input Text". 4. Click update. 5. Click play and listen to the arrangement from Google. 6. Now make it your own! Move the colored boxes with your mouse to create a different melody. Adjust the tempo, voice, singing amount and more to create your own arrangement. 7. In your response, share the lines of the poem you chose to arrange and what you liked about your arrangement. HAVE FUN! Here is the poem: "Air" By Michael Rosen The yawn in the morning filling your mouth with no one to start you yawning Air in my hair Air in the air The swing in the playground swinging with no one on the swing to swing it Air in my hair Air in the air The balloon with its skin blown up tight with no one blowing to tighten the skin Air in my hair Air in the air The open window where the cool blows in with no one to blow the cool

Hi, 5th grade musicians! Before we went to online learning, I took the Jam Jar home and looked at your songs. This song was in there a few times, so this Post Malone song is our mini-lesson this week! What meter is this song in? Is this song in Major or Minor Tonality? What is one thing you like about this song? Hello, Pattengill Pumas! The staff at Pattengill has been really missing you, so we decided to make you a video. In the video, you can see us all telling you hello and giving you different messages! You can also hear the new Pattengill school song! Below the YouTube link, you can find the lyrics and recording. Have fun watching, and remember we all love and miss you very much! Hi, Pattengill Pumas! We will be working on if a song is in major or minor tonality. Your job is to watch this video and audiate along with me. Have fun! Hi, Bryant Musicians! We're going to get moving with the song called See the Ponies Galloping. This is a folk song that is perfect for exploring Tempo (how fast and slow music is performed), and chanting in triple meter! Enjoy! Hi, Pattengill Pumas! This is the same chant that I did with Bryant, but with Pattengill rhythms. Your job is to follow along and to say the syllables along with me, or by yourself. Follow the instructions, and have fun! Welcome back from spring break, Bryant Tigers! Here is a video I created for you to watch. Your job is to follow along, and to audiate and see if each pattern is the SAME or DIFFERENT! You can use "Du's" and "Du-De"s like I did, or use Bah's. Enjoy! |
