Hi 5th grade musicians!
Ludwig van Beethoven was a famous composer from Germany. We have listened to many of his compositions in music class, in boomwhacker videos, and some of you have even played his music before.. Google has a Beethoven Google Doodle where you organize portions of Beethoven's scores into the correct order. I played it on his birthday a few years ago, and had lots of fun! Here are the instructions: 1. CLICK HERE 2. Read about Beethoven: it will be his 250th birthday in December. 3. At the top of the page, click play on the Google Doodle. 4. As the story unfolds, you will need to put portions of the scores in correct order. You will not be able to continue on Ludwig's journey to the concert hall until you order the scores correctly. *Hint- the double bar line always goes at the end of the song* 5. As you solve each puzzle correctly, listen to each song. 6. When you are done, comment the name of your favorite Beethoven song on this post. Have fun! Love, Ms. Kurilko
